Wes Goodman announces $52,335 in contributions for second half of 2015, over $50,000 cash on hand. More than triples fundraising haul of both primary competitors combined.

“From the beginning, we have run a campaign focused on working hard, connecting with voters, and putting together an effort designed to win. This report demonstrates that our campaign is in position to compete, spread our positive conservative message, and win on March 15.”

CARDINGTON, OH – The Ohio Secretary of State Campaign Finance Office has published 2016 Annual Reports detailing campaign finance activity for the second half of 2015. Friends of Wes Goodman raised over $60,000 in 2015, with over $50,000 presently on-hand for the March 15 Republican Primary election. This total more than triples the fundraising haul of both primary competitors combined.

“From the beginning, we have run a campaign focused on working hard, connecting with voters, and putting together an effort designed to win. This report demonstrates that our campaign is in position to compete, spread our positive conservative message, and win on March 15,” said Goodman. “Campaigns are not about money, they are about principles, service, and who is ready to stand up and fight for the families and taxpayers of their district. I’m proud of the effort we have put together and am blessed to have the resources to make our case to the voters of the 87th District over the next 45 days.

The vast majority of individual contributions were of $100 or less and came from right here in our part of Ohio. Wes Goodman has knocked on nearly 5,000 doors across the district, has been endorsed by Ohio Congressman Jim Jordan, as well as Ohio Right to Life, Citizens for Community Values, the Ohio Conservative Republican Leadership Committee, Family First PAC, and the Ohio Citizens PAC. In addition he has been endorsed and supported by current and former elected officials, business leaders, pastors, and other community leaders in all five counties of the 87th District.

Wes Goodman is a Republican candidate for the Ohio House of Representatives in the 87th District, encompassing Crawford, Marion, Morrow, Seneca, and Wyandot Counties. He and his wife Bethany live in Cardington in Morrow County, and are part of a third-generation farming family.
